Beltone Financial Qatar (BFQ) LLC operates under an Investment Banking License in Qatar to advise and arrange financial transactions including mergers, acquisitions and private placements. BFQ is part of the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) which was established by the Government of Qatar and located in Doha , opening for business in 2005. The QFC is independent of the Qatar Exchange, which is 20% owned by the New York Stock Exchange. The QFC is designed to attract international financial services institutions and major multi-national corporations and to encourage participation in the growing market for financial services in Qatar and elsewhere in the region.

Beltone Financial Qatar is managed by Ahmed Mourad, who graduated from Cairo University s of Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences Major Statistics and has experience with EFG Hermes and Orascom Telecom before joining Beltone Financial in Dubai in 2006, moving to head up Beltone Financial Qatar in 2009.
